STPM 2013 graduates

It has been so long since I've blogged.
Add work to your schedule and you'll hardly have time for blogging.

Recently, the STPM 2013 results for Semester 3 have been announced. This has caused confusion in all because not only did the Semester Three results came out, the Coursework results came too. Now what does this mean?

So basically what I'm about to focus on is what You should do after getting your results:

Are you retaking your Semester Three papers? If you are, study hard okay?
Because from what I've heard so far, those who retook Semester 1 and Semester 2 papers did not do well. Instead, they got worse results compared to their first tries.

Anyways,
Here are the procedures.
Print out all your results from the website for Semester 1 - 3. Even the retakes.
I'm not sure how they're going to calculate your total CGPA marks, but let's hope they take the higher ones and make your results look good.

Next.
BUY your Pin No. from BSN - Bank Simpanan Nasional.
Generally, there is only One Pin to buy - the UPU pin.
 Explanation: the UPU portal is a site whereby you upload your details and name the universities that you want to apply for up there. By doing so, all of the Malaysian local universities will have access to your details and will pick you if you're the one for them. Presumably so. The universities included are: UM, UKM, UiTM, UNIMAS and so on.

The price: RM 15.60

If you plan on pursuing your undergraduate degree in USM, Penang, then you have to buy another code - USM Pin No. from BSN as well.
However, the price does vary as it costs more - RM 40.00

Okay so what do these pins do?
Help you get into your Uni.
UPU has ALL the universities in it, USM has its own site.

Are we clear?

Now once you have those pin numbers.
Go to this website for UPU.
http://upu.moe.gov.my/  and go for the STPM graduates application:

Pick IPTA > Lepasan STPM > STPM 2013

Simple :)

Make sure you read the instructions and get it in your head.
You only have 3 times to alter your applications.
I haven't done it yet so I can't get you an insight on it YET.

If you're unsure about what to do,
then wait for me :)
I'm waiting for my full results which is due March 17.
Basically you can't do much without a full result.

Bagi yang mengambil ULANGAN 3, adakah keputusan STPM dikeluarkan sebelum kemasukan ke Universiti?

Pelajar yang mengambil ULANGAN 1 dan ULANGAN 2, tetapi tidak mengambil ULANGAN 3, keputusan penuh STPM akan dikeluarkan pada bulan Mac. Bagi pelajar yang mengambil ULANGAN 3, mereka tidak akan menerima keputusan STPM pada bulan Mac, sebaliknya keputusan penuh STPM mereka akan dikeluarkan pada akhir bulan April. Bahagian Kemasukan Universiti telah menasihatkan sama ada pelajar yang mendapat keputusan pada bulan Mac atau akhir bulan April hendaklah terus mengisi permohonan kemasukan ke universiti secara dalam talian apabila di buka. MPM akan menghantar keputusan penuh STPM semua pelajar terus kepada Bahagian Kemasukan Universiti sebagai pengesahan tulen.       "

You can however, look into the courses that you would like to pursue and which uni is great for what course.
If you haven't done well in exams, don't fret.
There is always something for those who look hard.
